Our global pharmaceutical client is seeking a Marketing Manager – Respiratory to lead and manage marketing strategies for new and existing products within the respiratory category. The role is responsible for developing product pricing, promotional strategies, and sales forecasting while building strong relationships with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will also play a key role in ensuring product life cycle maximisation and return on investment through participation in conferences and congresses, as well as providing insights for new business and product development initiatives.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and monitor product marketing and launch strategies to ensure compliance with local legislation and regulatory standards while maximising return on investment.
  • Oversee sales forecasting for all products and train sales teams on product knowledge to achieve sales goals.
  • Organise and participate in national and international congresses and conventions to build relationships with key stakeholders and exchange information on new treatments and company products.
  • Analyse market intelligence and product performance data to support effective decision-making and monitor product sales.
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure product promotion and placement align with local legislation and best practices.
  • Ensure accountability for drug safety in line with company policies.
 
Key Interactions
  • Finance Team for all product pricing, budget and sales-related reporting and analysis.
  • Regulatory Team to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Supply Chain for all information on product stock and availability.
  • Medical Team for all information and queries related to product knowledge and technical product information.
  • Doctors/Practitioners/Pharmacists for marketing and listing of company products and discuss seeking information on company products and market trends.
  • Medical funders to ensure and discuss product on formulary and alignment of product on formulary.
  • Distributers for distribution and availability of company products.
 
Educational Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate degree in marketing or pharmaceutical qualification.
  • 4-5 years of experience in marketing and sales, with a few years in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, creative business insights, multitasking ability, independent decision-making, and excellent interpersonal skills.
