Marketing Manager – Trade & Brand

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will form part of the OTC commercial leadership team and spearhead marketing strategy across product portfolios. This is a high-visibility role overseeing trade marketing, brand management, and go-to-market execution.
Key Responsibilities:
    • Achieve annual revenue targets across pharmaceutical and FMCG markets
    • Manage OPEX including cost centres, profit centres, advertising, and A&P budgets
    • Develop brand and channel strategic objectives to drive commercial success
    • Oversee marketing spending, and agency management, and ensure regulatory compliance
    • Lead channel strategy execution, customer conferences, and DOH submissions
    • Continuously assess strategy implementation through field insights and analytics
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to maximize marketing ROI and effectiveness
    • Manage new product launches and relaunches into the trade
    • Liaise with creative agencies for above and below-the-line marketing campaigns
    • Business/Marketing degree; 10+ years OTC pharma and FMCG experience
    • Proven track record as a Marketing Manager driving successful campaigns
    • Expertise in strategy implementation across trade and marketing functions
    • Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable strategies
    • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical landscape, regulations, and merchandising
To succeed in this role, you must possess a comprehensive understanding of both the pharmaceutical and FMCG landscapes. You should have expertise in customer and marketing data analytics, category management, marketing code adherence, and pharmaceutical marketing regulations. Strong merchandising principles along with proven experience in managing creative agencies for digital and traditional marketing campaigns is essential. Additionally, you must demonstrate a firm grasp of pharmaceutical laws related to pricing and marketing, as well as the ability to measure and optimize marketing ROI through effective promotions.
