Our client is seeking a results-oriented Medical Sales rep to join their dynamic team. The main responsibility of this role is to maximise the profitable sales of the company’s products while building strong relationships with the medical community, hospitals, health centres, and sales outlets. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting the company’s products and policies through effective communication and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets, driving national market share growth.
- Identify and establish new business opportunities, meet individual sales targets by promoting the full range of products and services within the designated territory.
- Ensure compliance with customer and internal/external stakeholder policies, providing guidance and support for cross-functional integration.
- Assist with financial management by generating monthly cost control reports and planning monthly expenditures to align with allocated budgets.
- Take accountability for drug safety by escalating any adverse events or serious medical incidents related to the company’s products to the Drug Safety Unit/Pharmacovigilance team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including doctors, specialists, nurses, clients, pharmacists, and pharmacist assistants.
Skills & Knowledge
- Relevant Diploma or Degree in a related field.
- 2–5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales, covering all aspects of the role.
In this role, you will have the freedom to plan your daily activities, prioritize client visits, and manage client engagements. You will also be responsible for negotiating contracts and effectively managing budgets.
