Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is looking for a motivated and results-oriented Pharmacy Sales Representative to promote and expand an established over-the-counter (OTC) portfolio in the retail pharmacy sector. This role emphasises achieving regional sales targets, enhancing customer relationships, and identifying new growth opportunities within a competitive self-medication environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve individual regional and divisional sales targets through effective territory management.
  • Promote OTC products to independent pharmacies and key customers within the assigned region.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and key accounts.
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies to maximise brand performance.
  • Analyse regional sales data, competitor activity, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Identify new product opportunities and expansion areas within the territory.
  • Respond professionally to customer queries and complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
 
Minimum Requirements
  • Matric (Tertiary qualification in Commerce and/or Science advantageous).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative.
  • Proven experience within the Independent Pharmacy channel.
  • Demonstrated success within Self-medication and FMCG markets.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
