Our global pharmaceutical company client is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Business Finance Partner to support business performance across Sub-Saharan Africa.
This role focuses on delivering high-quality financial analysis, providing strategic decision support, and partnering with key stakeholders to drive revenue growth, optimise financial performance, and support long-term business planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning processes including budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning cycles.
- Provide monthly financial reporting, analysis, and performance insights across revenue, costs, and key balance sheet items.
- Deliver strategic decision support by identifying risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
- Drive Gross-to-Net analysis and improve planning accuracy for sales deductions.
- Partner with stakeholders to optimise inventory levels, pricing, profitability, and cash flow performance.
- Collaborate with Finance Operations and Order-to-Cash teams to improve accounts receivable and working capital.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and support regional and enterprise-wide finance projects.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of financial data into core systems and reporting frameworks.
- Participate in, and lead, Middle East, Russia & Africa (MERA)-wide Business Finance projects and other enterprise initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related analytical field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in management accounting or business finance.
- Experience within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
- Professional qualification such as CIMA, CA(SA), CPA, or ACCA.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
- Advanced computer literacy and financial systems/ERP tools.
