Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is looking for a motivated and results-oriented Pharmacy Sales Representative to promote and expand an established over-the-counter (OTC) portfolio in the retail pharmacy sector. This role emphasises achieving regional sales targets, enhancing customer relationships, and identifying new growth opportunities within a competitive self-medication environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve individual regional and divisional sales targets through effective territory management.
- Promote OTC products to independent pharmacies and key customers within the assigned region.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and key accounts.
- Implement sales and marketing strategies to maximise brand performance.
- Analyse regional sales data, competitor activity, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Identify new product opportunities and expansion areas within the territory.
- Respond professionally to customer queries and complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Tertiary qualification in Commerce and/or Science advantageous).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative.
- Proven experience within the Independent Pharmacy channel.
- Demonstrated success within Self-medication and FMCG markets.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
