Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Professional Sales Representative to join their Over-The-Counter (OTC) Business Unit in Cape Town. This role is crucial in promoting OTC products, driving sales growth, and building strong relationships with key customers in both Independent and Corporate Pharmacies.

 

 

In this role, you will be responsible for achieving individual, regional, and divisional sales targets consistently. You will develop and maintain excellent relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Key Customers, identifying opportunities for new products and business growth areas in the market. Your role will involve successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies, analysing regional sales data, and developing strategies to maximise sales potential in your area. Additionally, you will handle customer complaints and queries professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

 

 

 

 

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly motivated, and entrepreneurial, capable of working both independently and as part of a team. You should demonstrate strong customer service orientation, with a solid understanding of business principles and processes. Attention to detail, strong selling and negotiation skills, and the ability to execute strategic priorities promptly are essential. You will need to exhibit problem-solving and decision-making skills, possess financial acumen, and have a deep understanding of industry trends, competitors and market dynamics. The ability to analyse information effectively will be key to your success in this role.
