Are you a dynamic sales leader with a passion for the pharmaceutical sector? Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company is looking for a Regional Sales Manager for their OTC Division. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team of sales representatives and drive growth across independent and corporate pharmacies.
 
Key Responsibilities:
    • Attract, motivate, develop and retain a high-performing sales team.
    • Achieve regional and divisional sales and market share targets.
    • Manage operational expectations and ensure expenses are in line with budget.
    • Build strong, sustainable relationships with key customers.
    • Analyse market trends, monitor performance, and develop tactical sales plans.
    • Prepare accurate field sales reports to be presented timeously

Required learning and experience
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in independent and corporate pharmacy.
    • Regional Sales Manager experience is advantageous.
    • Tertiary qualification in Sales & Marketing, or a medical discipline is advantageous
    • Deep understanding and knowledge of OTC products (Schedule 0–2) and the Marketing Code of Conduct.
    • Proven sales record and thorough knowledge of the South African pharmaceutical industry.
    • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 
    • Business-savvy with strong commercial awareness.
