Sales Rep – Western Cape[GE]

Our client in the medical devices and healthcare industry is seeking driven and customer-focused Sales Representatives to support and grow specialised healthcare portfolios across Gastrointestinal, Respiratory, Endo Therapy, Infection Prevention, and Capital Equipment solutions. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, providing clinical support, and delivering value-based solutions within hospital and healthcare environments.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Drive sales growth and achieve territory targets across assigned medical device and capital equipment portfolios.
  • Develop and execute territory plans, identify new business opportunities, and expand existing customer accounts.
  • Provide product demonstrations, in-servicing, clinical support, and training to healthcare professionals.
  • Support capital equipment sales processes, including quotations, negotiations, tenders, and customer presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, procurement teams, hospital management, and KOLs.
  • Promote the full product and service offering, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and portfolio expansion.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to support strategic sales initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM updates, reporting, and compliance with healthcare and regulatory standards.
 
Minimum Requirements
 
  • Diploma or Degree in Medical Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Sales, or related field.
  • Relevant clinical or technical certification.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in medical device sales or a related healthcare environment.
  • Proven track record within endoscopy, infection prevention, or capital equipment sales.
  • Experience working with healthcare professionals within both public and private healthcare sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, hospital environments, and procurement processes.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
