Senior Oracle Business Analyst

Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Business Analyst to work closely with Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to identify opportunities for business process improvement and automation. The role will focus on designing, implementing and supporting practical, compliant and sustainable Oracle EBS solutions, ensuring effective documentation, system integration and user adoption.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyse business processes and information requirements to identify system needs and opportunities for improvement.

  • Design, implement and support Oracle EBS solutions aligned with Supply Chain and Manufacturing operations.

  • Develop detailed business and functional specifications to support system enhancements and automation initiatives.

  • Evaluate existing systems, identify operational shortcomings and implement effective solutions while maintaining data integrity.

  • Design and implement custom applications, system integrations and automated workflows.

  • Manage system-related projects from requirements gathering through to successful delivery.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, business process procedures and technical specifications.

  • Provide ongoing system support in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and deliver user training to promote effective system adoption.

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements, regulatory standards and GxP-compliant processes, including validation documentation, audit trails and change control.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • BSc in Computer Science, BEng in Industrial Engineering or relevant qualification.

  • 10+ years’ experience in Business or Systems Analysis.

  • Solid background in Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing.

  • Proven Oracle EBS R12 functional implementation and support experience.

  • Knowledge of quality management processes.

  • Experience in the majority of the Oracle modules and business processes

  • Working knowledge of SQL for general queries.

  • Experience integrating ERP and third-party systems using interfaces, APIs/web services, EDI and file-based integrations.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, planning and organisational skills, with excellent communication and facilitation capabilities. They should be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, conduct user training and manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
