Our pharmaceutical client seeks a skilled Brand Manager for their generic prescription Business Unit. This role reports to the Business Unit Manager – Generics and Pharmacy Team. The ideal candidate will drive brand success by managing a portfolio of products within the Generics Business Unit, ensuring strategic growth, product performance, and effective market positioning.
 
Job Purpose
To develop and implement effective brand strategies, manage product performance, and achieve revenue targets across a portfolio of generic prescription brands.
 
Required Learning
  • Medical Sciences degree and min 5 years in brand/product management in the pharmaceutical sector
  • Experience with generics and in the pharmacy environment
  • Proven expertise in brand planning, forecasting, and product launches
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis
  • Cardiovascular and/or pain management experience is advantageous

  • Develop and implement comprehensive product plans and marketing materials

The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of competitor and market dynamics, with strong marketing acumen and project management skills. They should demonstrate excellent cross-functional integration with teams such as Sales, Pharmacy, Regulatory, and Inventory, and be skilled in supply chain management. A strong attention to detail, customer relationship building, and effective communication and presentation skills are essential. Proactive problem-solving abilities, business acumen, and the ability to innovate and negotiate business initiatives are vital to drive brand success.
